Some time ago, the city of Dortmund set itself the goal of becoming a Smart City. Since then, several important paths have already been taken to advance this approach. For example, the city of Dortmund was able to prevail over a large number of European cities in the competition for the iCapital Award and now holds the title “European Innovation Capital 2021”.
